The food is really nice, and they have offers such as 2 courses for £10.
Friendly, family owned pub.
I live very close to this pub, and it is a given that you go here on Bonfire night for the fireworks display.
Good meals, good drinks, good value for money. -

I live right near the Bowling green pub and I think it is great, the atmosphere is great, they have a singer on at weekends and pub quizes etc
We go for sunday dinner as the food is lovely, they also do a childs menu and children eat free with every full paying adult.
They have a lovely little room for small parties functions etc and the landlord puts on a lovely buffet at very reasonable prices, I think it is big enough for a party of about 50 but there is room in the other part of the pub if you like to mingle.
For the smokers they have kindly build a lovely little gazebo type conservatory on the side with a few tables and chairs nicely set out.
New years eve in the Bowling green is a brilliant night, the staff really do make sure you have a good time and the staff are walking around the pub going from one table to the next with trays of delicious food served free all night is amazing.
